New studs installed. Middle weatherboards removed to allow installation of noggins (horizontal braces between studs). Top weatherboards removed to enable skew nailing (nails angled through top of stud) of new studs to top plate. Left stud nailed to existing stud to reinforce it carrying internal lining. Right stud nailed to existing spacer to support window and stud to right carrying internal lining.
